How to make good quality injection plastic mould?
1:Design:
Good mold design is the first step. PRC MOLD has 3 designers with more than 15 years experience.
1: We will analyze the feasibility, shrinkage rate and molding temperature of plastic products.
2: We will communicate with customers, including details such as weight, style design, size and appearance, stability and wear resistance of plastic chairs.
3: Provide free design and mold flow analysis.
2: Steel Procurement Inspection:
Mold steel: choose different steel according to injection molding material, mold life and customer requirements. There are strict inspection procedures for the hardness of mold steel, and the service life is 300,000 to 3 million times.
3: Mold Making Processing:
After the mold drawing is confirmed, start production, including mold steel preparation, CNC rough machining, deep hole drilling, EDM, drilling machine, high-speed milling, finishing, polishing assembly, electroplating, mold trial, nitriding, etc.
Precisely control the size, and conduct self-inspection for each tooling part according to the requirements of drawing size and tolerance limit control.
4: Plastic Mold Test:
The first test we do on the mold is to check that it moves smoothly and properly.
After the mold is polished, we test the mold again. Compare the test sample with the original design, then send the final sample and mold test video to customer for confirmation.
5: Shipping Mold:
1: Before the mold is shipped, we will check whether the opening and closing of the plastic mold is smooth, the cooling system, the hydraulic oil system and the hot runner system.
2: The cavity and core are cleaned without iron filings and impurities.
3: Blow the waterway clean to prevent long-term sea transportation from rusting.
4: We spray anti-rust agent on the inside of the mold, spray paint on the outside of the mold, and apply anti-rust oil on the thimble.
5: We will put a nameplate on the mold: it shows the serial number of the product, the year of production and the mold information (mold name, mold weight, size).
6: Mold accessories are provided free of charge. (Convenient for customers to replace)
6: Little Tips:
1. Routine maintenance of the mold: refueling of various moving parts such as thimbles, guide posts, and guide sleeves, cleaning the surface of the mold, and dredging accumulated water.
2. Regular maintenance: cleaning of exhaust grooves, discharge of trapped air and black spots, correction of damaged and worn parts, etc.
3. Appearance maintenance: spray paint on the outside of the template to prevent rust. Fixed mold and movable mold should be coated with anti-rust oil. When the mold is stored, it should be airtight to prevent dust from entering the cavity.
